  12. Hello,
  13.     I'm doing my senior project in computer engineering, and all it 
  14. is is a multimedia display system for a museum. I have a CD32, so my 
  15. suggestion was to grab one and use Scala or something to do the stuff. 
  16. Anyway, since Amigas are so poorly represented nowadays, we've gone with 
  17. Astound on a 133MHz PC. Ouch! I can't believe how piss poor it is. You 
  18. can't smoothly animate _anything_ (no, not even text), and half of the 
  19. transitions just don't happen at all, like they're too difficult or 
  20. something.
  21.     I could do better than this with shareware on any Amiga, but 
  22. noooo. Anyway, is Scala for PC anywhere near release? I've got to do 
  23. something else with this thing.
